TransloadX, integrated solutions for transloading, logistics, and railroad real estate, emanated from the years of working in the transportation industry, working hand in hand with our customers, asking and listening; Why did customers not want to move their business to rail for all their logistics needs? Why not move to rail from “over-the-road” freight transportation?
Transportation customers were hesitant about making changes in an industry that they felt was not reliable and lacking in customer service - despite that fact rail is more cost effective on a per ton basis, a safer mode of transportation, and higher ESG savings than “over-the-road” freight transportation.
After listening to former rail customers issues, and working to develop and provide solutions to overcome their concerns, TransloadX's founders foresaw the need for railroads and their transload partners to become more entrepreneurial and change to meet the needs of supplier’s logistics model that required flexible transloading operations. TransloadX was born, the next generation model, to provide one source solutions for transloading of materials via rail.
